We work with all different types of scrap metal every day. Categorized in two major areas, scrap metal can be considered either “ferrous” or “non-ferrous,” the difference being that ferrous scrap contains iron and steel making it magnetic, while the other does not.
Ferrous scrap metal might include things like appliances, car parts, farm equipment, machinery or structural steel.
